The chef is on the table è un Unconventional Foodblog curato da Mariachiara, in arte Maricler, e Fabrizio; una coppia, nel lavoro così come nella vita, con una grandissima passione in comune: il cibo. Maricler fa la Food Strategist e si occupa di Digital Pr ed eventi nel mondo food, Fabrizio amministra la raccolta differenziata. Una campana, l’altro sardo, vantano tappe pluriennali a Bologna, poi a Milano ed ora stanziano a Torino. Scrivono entrambi su Cucchiaio.it, tengono corsi di foodwriting con Zandegù e collaborano con il Laboratorio Zanzara.

The chef is on the table si presenta come un diario di esperienze culinarie che vogliono essere condivise e vogliono dar motivo di discussione e confronto. La coppia parla agli ammalati di cibo, agli appassionati come loro ed ai professionisti curiosi mappando le loro esperienze, gli eventi a cui partecipano ed i luoghi che visitano. La definizione “Unconventional” nasce proprio da questo: The chef is on the table non si presenta come un mero elenco di ricette e “certo rientra anche una punta dell’irriverenza che ci caratterizza, di quell’ironia e pretesa di onestà audace che fa di noi un blog con una voce sempre riconoscibile e affidabile”.
